Teaching Employers:

Build Your Workforce. Support Student Learning. Invest in the Future of Education.

At Lanvey, we work with schools, colleges, and training providers to help recruit and train Teaching Apprentices who will support high-quality learning while developing into confident and qualified professionals. By hiring a Teaching Apprentice, you’ll gain
enthusiastic staff who are trained to national standards, helping you meet the diverse needs of
your learners.

Why Hire a Teaching Apprentice?

Classroom Support from Day One
Apprentices provide direct support to teachers and students—assisting with lesson delivery,
classroom management, resource preparation, and one-to-one or small group support.
Cost-Effective Staffing
With government apprenticeship funding, you can train new staff affordably—reducing
recruitment costs and supporting long-term retention.
Training Aligned to Standards
Our apprentices complete nationally recognised Teaching Apprenticeship standards,
equipping them with skills in pedagogy, curriculum planning, safeguarding, and inclusive
practice.
Future Teachers in Development
Apprenticeships are a proven pathway into full teacher training, helping you nurture future
educators from within your own team.
Fresh Skills & Commitment
Apprentices bring energy, digital skills, and new ideas to the classroom—supporting students while learning from experienced mentors.
